Crusade in the Dominican Republic…

10082September 25-30, 2013

And the Lord said unto the servant, “Go out
into the highways and hedges, and compel
them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

Luke 14: 23

We thank Evangelist David George for kicking the crusade off
with a great start in the “power of the Holy Spirit.”

It took a whole lot of preparation and work to make this crusade happen.
Everything started in Fond Parisien at the Love A Child Village.  We had
to pack up the huge gospel tent and much more equipment to take with us.

Once the trucks were loaded, we headed to the Dominican Republic…

Going-to-DR

The drive to Bavaro is about eight hours.  Once there,
the team began to erect the huge gospel tent.

It took many hours to get it up…

Soon, it was up and ready for the crusade.

The whole community planned a parade to kick off the crusade.

Each night, Anniece and Jennifer Loudermilk sang the “blessings down” with
the power of God in action.  (They sang in loving memory of one of Bobby’s
best friends, Reverend Jim Loudermilk.)  Jim would be so proud of his wife
and daughter.

Reggie and Ezekiel are two of our Haitian staff members.  They
blessed the crusade with songs in Creole for all of our Haitian
friends who came in from the sugar cane fields.

This is Philemon on the drums.  He is one of our Haitian Love A Child
staff members.  Philemon, Reggie, Ezekiel and many others worked
with the Dominican team to put up the large gospel tent!  Thanks so much, guys!

The group below includes Robert, his daughter Danielle, and her husband
Dieuseul.  They are Love A Child Missionaries who helped with the crusade.
Danielle and Dieuseul were such a blessing with their music.

The crowds grew larger each night.

The last night there was standing room only.

We wish to thank our friend Reverend Jim Whittington for ending
the crusade with a great Harvest of Souls and the “power of God.”
