Love A Child works diligently to find medical help for Haitian children with medical needs.
Whether it be a child severely burned or a child needing an artifical eye, we look for host families, doctors and hospitals to help change a life.
The needs are so great in Haiti with conditions you rarely see in the United States. We ask that you pray about what you can do to help improve and change the lives of those in great need here in the country of Haiti.

Rose Julie, age 10, (DOB - July 10, 1999) has severe heart problems, and is in critical need of surgery. We need a doctor and hospital in the United States to donate their services to help Rose Julie. Please help us to help this little girl.

Dieubon Edouard, age 11, ( DOB - July 28, 1997) had club foot surgery several years ago.
His feet are doing well, but he has another problem - SPINA BIFIDA OCCULTA-POSSIBLE TETHERED SPINAL CORD.
We have a possible doctor, but as of yet, no hospital. This child needs immediate surgery and care. We will also need a host family in the area to provide care.
Dieuferly D'or, age 15, (DOB - September 12, 1994) had club foot surgery done in Haiti in 1992 by the U.S. Military. His feet never properly healed. He has severe problems with his feet.
The doctor said the bones in his feet are not calcified. He is at risk for fracture. The BONES IN HIS FEET ARE DETERIORATING AND HE NEEDS SURGERY AND TREATMENT.
He needs "surgical treatment for improving the alignment of the bones in his feet." He will need both a doctor and hospital to donate their services and a host family to care to him. Simone Lherisson, age 16, (DOB - August 8, 1993) has severe RICKETS AND DEFORMATION OF THE KNEES, known as "genu valgum."
We are not sure what options are available, but it is clear that nothing can be done for her here in Haiti. We believe that we have a doctor and hospital willing to do this surgery and care free of charge. Lord willing, Simone will have her surgery in Atlanta Georgia. "Healing the Children - Florida/Georgia Chapter"
is the organization who is helping us with Simone and trying to work on the other cases. We will need a host family for Simone in
Georgia, if everything goes as planned. Please send an email to
