Special Gifts for Haitians…

December 20-24, 2013

A Creole Proverb…
“Ou we sa ou genyen, ou pa konn sa ou rete.”
“You know what you’ve got, but you don’t know what’s coming.”

Haiti is now considered the “poorest country in the world…”

Most Haitian adults and children do not have nice clothing to wear, nor do they have a blanket for chilly nights.  Their money goes toward trying to find a handful of rice to feed their children.

Most of the orphanages in Haiti struggle each month to find enough food for their children.  This is why we share our food with so many…

When we receive wonderful new items, we love to share what comes to us with others.  Just recently, we received boxes of clothing, quilts and many other useful supplies.  Every item will be put to good use and we are all so thankful.  Let’s see what “goodies” came to Haiti recently.

This first box from Carolyn Weaver was shared with those living in old Le Tant.
