Coffee for a cause

Since the early 1700’s Haiti has been producing some of the best coffees in the world. Coffee has been the second-largest agricultural export commodity from Haiti for years. However, during the past few decades production and export of coffee has fallen, leaving hundreds of Haitian families without jobs, and in a cycle of poverty. Now, through a partnership with Selecto Brands (Geo. Weiner S.A.), the oldest commercial coffee producer in Haiti, your donations can help support Haitian coffee farmers as they once again contribute to restoring Haiti’s rich agricultural economy.

For a donation of $30 or more, we will send you a 1 pound bag of Selecto’s premium Haitian coffee.

We are able to buy direct from Selecto who sponsor, support, and promote the heritage of Haiti’s rich mountain-grown coffees, working directly with the coffee cooperatives in the mountains directly behind Love A Child’s campus in Fond Parisien, Haiti. The rich Haitian coffee grows well at elevations of 1,800 feet and above, and your donations will help support these farmer co-ops as they revive their proud heritage.
