Brothers!

Here in Haiti, at our Love A Child Children’s Home, the kids grow up as a “family!” There are very few “fights,” or, “you like him better than me.” They really consider each other “brothers and sisters!” It is very common for the older ones to ask the younger ones, to “Bring me this,” or “Please bring me a drink of water,” etc. The crazy thing is that the younger ones enjoy doing this!!

I happened to open the laundry door today to see “Bobby,” and “Raphael,” smiling and “ironing a shirt” for big brother “Stanley!!” Everyone was laughing and talking so I just closed the door and went upstairs… and there were the older girls braiding the hair of the younger girls, and everyone was having a good time!! One thing is for sure… with 85 kids, of all ages, “there is never a dull moment,” or a “quiet one!”
