“Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.” Proverbs 21:13 – We knew of a very rich pastor from the States who would come to Haiti and ask to stay with us. He wanted to come to Haiti, but he never wanted to see or hear about the poor or help them in any way. He never knew that he was refusing Jesus every time he shut his heart.
