The other day we posted a few pictures of Mackenson. At that time, I didn’t have the picture I wanted to show you. This is “Mackenson” from our Mobile Medical Clinic in Covant. We traveled about six hours by four-wheel drive and walked across two mountains to get to his village. I thought he was about two when I saw him, but his father said he was “seven.” He had kwashiorkor malnutrition so badly that the skin on his arms and legs was splitting open. I cried so hard that day in the clinic.
After lots of care, lots of love and good food, Mackenson is the “picture of health” today. He is huggable, adorable, and just so sweet!!! “Thank you God for allowing us to find this child and save his life.” Sherry
