Sherry and I, along with all of Love A Child want to wish all the fathers a Happy Father’s Day. May you have a very special Father’s Day! You are the strength and Abraham of your family. When I was two weeks old, I was sent to be raised by Jake and Dorothy Poteet. To me, Jake is my father, and I could love him no more than I do. He died in 1960, and to this very day, I miss him with all my heart. Still to this day, at times I think about him and cry. He was always so good to me. I will never forget my Father who took me in.
