“Be Thou Strong and Very Courageous…”
I can see the old man with the weathered, wrinkled face, tired from many years of leading the Israelites to the new land. He lays hands on the young warrior, Joshua, and “imparts the spirit of wisdom” on him. (Deuteronomy 34:9) Joshua has big shoes to fill, but the Lord tells him three times, only be “strong and very courageous.” Joshua fought battles that would take a miracle, and maybe you are facing a battle today “that will take a miracle.” God is ready to do it… “Be strong and very courageous.” Blessings!
