Word from the Mission Field

“God can use anyone or anything.”

Sometimes we limit God when we have a problem. Or maybe we think we should help God out or give Him advice when His ways are better than our ways.

This story is told in the Bible, 2 Chronicles 14:11… Asa was the son of King Abijah, King of Judah. He really loved the Lord and served Him as his father had done. He broke down all the heathen altars and commanded his people to serve the Lord. Everything was going just fine until a great Ethiopian King, Zerah, decided to attack with a thousand thousand chariots (1,000,000)! Now, even a couple of hundred chariots at a terrific speed would be frightening. Imagine a million chariots pounding your way with men with spears and daggers and javelins! Even the sound would give you a heart attack! “And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Lord our God; for we rest on thee […] so the Lord smote the Ethiopians before Asa.” (2 Chronicles 14:11-12)

God doesn’t need large numbers to help. He can use the smallest thing or person to perform a miracle in your life! Now, lift your hands and begin to trust Him and praise Him! Sherry
