Daniel is one of my favorite kids. We brought him out of “Old Letant” when he was a baby. We didn’t realize there was “something wrong” until he was old enough to go to school. We soon found out he had “issues,” both with learning and with basic social skills. Once when we went to see him at school, we found out that his teacher had “tied him to a chair” because he just kept leaving! That was an “eye-opener” that we had problems coming in the future. It has been a struggle for him in school and with social skills with other children. But to me, he is sweet, loveable, and huggable. He is a hard worker and always smiling. I can work with that! I think he is a “one-on-one” child and is best working with one adult at a time. We have a sweet teacher who works well with children like him at our Love A Child Children’s Home. She is patient with him, and we believe that with God’s help, Daniel will improve. As Bobby says, “Love is not something you just talk about… Love is something you do!” We love Daniel!
