Update happenings:

Today we are giving out big tilapia fish and Feed My Starving Children meals to six more villages today! The people are so appreciative for the fish and meals. It’s a happy day here in these villages! Pictures later…

Jesse Ostrander (Mark Ostrander’s son) has been in the Dominican Republic for these last few days. This has been a wonderful week for a very special Haitian family. Sherry and I know a Haitian Christian family personally in the DR who have been living in a 350-square-foot dwelling with seven family members, including the grandmother. They had no electricity or water. It was an awful place to live. It brought tears to our eyes. We had a builder in the Dominican Republic build a nice home in a nice area with electricity and water. Yesterday they all moved in their new home! Jesse has worked very hard putting all of this together and moving the family in. Jesse has gone the extra mile!

We also bought them a stove and put in some nice furniture in their new home. This project has meant so much to us from our hearts. Thank you for helping on this. Without you we could not have done this… We did this together!

I haven’t shared any pictures yet for a reason… This is a different culture down here. Jealously is very strong here. Haitians are very scared of voodoo. Believe me, people would be putting voodoo on this family!! We are covered by the blood of Jesus… We may share in the next few days…don’t know yet. We would need permission to do so.
