As many of you know, little Samuel was taken to Ebenezer Hospital last week. He had severe stomach pains, and we were worried he had a bowel blockage. After many tests, they could not find the problem, so they sent him home and had him come back for a stool test. Then sent him home.

Then a day later, his pains grew worse, so we sent him to the hospital again. Our administrator over the orphanage went with him. It took hours before they could see him. The doctor said that he had “kidney stones” and told him to drink water!

I was shocked! I know plenty of men who have had kidney stones, but I had never heard of a child having this!! Only in Haiti!!
