Important Updates

Danger: Some of our staff can’t make it here to Love A Child because they have to go through a dangerous area of Croix des Bouquets. They must wait until the streets clear. As you may know, the death of the President has caused a lot of anger among the people. So, our workers must sit tight, wherever they are, until the roadblocks and trouble pass.

Update on Jackson: Jackson still has a fever and infection caused by the fistula (catheter) in his neck. The doctor wants to remove the catheter, clear out the infection, and put in a new catheter. Jackson is our little boy who had kwashiorkor malnutrition. He retained a lot of water. He now has severe kidney problems and will have to have dialysis. We will keep you posted.
