“Haiti’s Children”

They are the “little ones” who suffer the most because they are too small and helpless to fend for themselves. They live under pieces of ripped tents due to an earthquake, or in a straw hut made from dried grass. They never complain about anything because they are too hungry and weak. Every day when they wake up, they have one goal… find enough food to make the hunger go away “today.”

They have faced hurricanes, earthquakes, and mudslides now and then, but they face hunger “every day.” There have been times that those from a large family have seen a brother or sister “go away with their mother,” and not come back. They just never realized that a sibling had been sold for food, or even given to another family to work as an indentured slave.

Looking into the eyes of these children leaves a great pain in our hearts. These are the ones that the Lord has called us to feed. We are always looking and seeking “that tiny village” that is forgotten. You and I can be an “answer to their prayers.” Thank you, for helping us feed the children of Haiti. – Bobby and Sherry
