We distributed more food in Miracle Village and Kingdom Connection Village today. All these homes we built for the 2010 earthquake victims. Today the economy is awful here in Haiti due to gang violence and political unrest. There are very few jobs available… Everyone wants to work, but there is no money and there are no jobs. The children suffer the most.
If the families don’t keep their house and yard clean they do not receive a box of FMSC meals, which will last a family for about a month. When they know we are coming, they clean, clean, clean! The Haitian people are very sweet and so funny at times.
