Big Blessings for Little Children…

Children in the States take so much for granted… While almost every child has a cell phone and some type of laptop, the parents of children in Haiti struggle to buy a book, a pen, or a pencil. We have been in schools in Haiti where the teacher will break a pencil in half and share it with two children.

All school children in Haiti must have a uniform or they cannot go to school. Our Love A Child school colors are blue and yellow, for “all of our schools.” About a week ago, we received lots of special gifts from “The Prayer Palace/Global Missions.” They sent a lot of different supplies, but we immediately opened the school items so that we could send these on to our LAC children, in many schools. If you want to know if these children were happy, just look at their faces!!! They were happy, laughing, and couldn’t wait to “get back to work!” Ha!

We just want to say a big “thank you,” to The Prayer Palace/Global Missions, and to all those who participated in getting these supplies, boxing them up, and sending them to us here in Haiti.

Sometimes, when a container comes in, if there are gangs on the street, we must wait until it is safe for the container to bring these items to Love A Child. But they have all arrived and brought smiles to many children! Thank you also for all the other supplies and gifts you have sent. We will be sending more pictures in the near future!

Thank you and may God bless you,
Bobby and Sherry

Note: If you would like to know the greatest need at our Love A Child Children’s Home, it would be “boys pants,” all sizes… Most of the boys are on the slim side, but we have one boy, Raphael, who is a little heavier… But, if you see any sales on jeans, or dress pants, any size, please put them in a box and send them to Love A Child. (Also, dress shirts, any size, for Church!)

We also need men’s work boots, men’s tennis shoes… they don’t have to be new. Thank you!

Send all these items to:
