When Rachael’s mother died in childbirth, it left her father with four children to raise, in the very poor country of Haiti. So, we took her in… but we did not really like the name of Nazalie… it just didn’t fit. So, we began to call her Rachael. She has grown into a beautiful little girl, and the kids call her “Zo Kiki.”
Rachael actually has four siblings, but to our knowledge, they have not come to see her at the orphanage. Rachael has had a problem with a bad “head fungus,” which gets in really bad condition. We made up some “homemade” medicine and put it on her and she is doing well.
Rachael loves to do “Praise Dances.” She babysits little Zachary and little Zoey. She loves to help in the kitchen and loves to fold clothes or anything she can do. She is “all girl!” We just keep wondering what she will do with her life when she gets older!!! God has a plan! We all love “Zo Kiki!!!”
