Update on Esther

It was many years ago that a poor woman, Madamn Jesula, came to the gate of our home in the mountains of Haiti. She knocked on the gate and had a little girl about four years old, and a baby in her arms. She said, “I’m sick and I’m going to die, and I want you to take my children when I die… I don’t even have a place to live.”

I began talking to her and found out her name was Madamn Jesula, which means “Jesus is here.” I told her, “If Jesus is here, you are not going to die!” We put her in a hospital and paid her bills. When she was well, we took her into our Orphanage and raised her children named Widlene and Esther.

Widlene is in College in Haiti, and Esther is going to finish High School. She is so intelligent, and always does things “the right way.” I have always asked her, “What do you want to be when you finish school?”

She replies, “I want to be a veterinary and work with animals.” I told her, “You need to practice by brushing Sampson’s teeth. But first, you need to get the ball out of his mouth!” We love Esther! Let’s see what God does in her life!
