Fill Your Horn with Oil and Go!

When Saul disobeyed the Lord, it broke Samuel’s heart and he mourned for Saul. “And the Lord said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.” I Samuel 16:1

We spend time crying over things when God already has the answer worked out! God wants you to stop worrying, stop whining, and stop crying! Dry your eyes, wash your face, and “fill your horn with oil!”

That thing you have been crying and praying about… God already has the answer worked out! He already has the solution!! He had it worked out before your tears hit the floor! So fill your horn with oil and begin to praise God! He was working on the solution before the problem ever hit! Dry your eyes; God’s got this!
