After church, or when the boys finish lunch, they love to get together for a big domino match! Several of them got dominoes last Christmas, and the kids are getting full ware out of those dominoes!!

The Haitians (especially the ones who live far out, or from poor villages), are very serious about dominoes. Each man has a set of clothespins and when the other guy loses, the guy ahead gets to put a clothespin on his opposition. He will clip it to his ears, his nose, his eyebrows, his lips, anywhere!! I have seen so many clothespins on a face, that they were hardly recognizable!!! Ouch!!

Another thing the Haitians love to do is “slap” that domino down hard with a loud “crack” on the table! Dominoes in Haiti is like being on another planet, but our boys haven’t gotten that far yet, but they are learning! Dominoes and large, long jump ropes are the two favorites here at Love A Child!!
