If ever there was a child who should have never been a success, it would have Dieuferly. We found him in the mountains of Covant when we were conducting a Mobile Clinic. His “extremely poor” mother had nine children, and her last husband had left her. Dieuferly had severe clubfeet. He was just about 3 1/2.

At that time, the U.S. military was here doing “free surgeries” and they agreed to operate on this “three-year-old” child. But, they were not “club foot specialists” and with several bad surgeries, they left his feet in horrible condition and constant pain.

But, last year, Jesse Ostrander, who is working with us, found an expert surgeon in the Dominican Republic. That surgery, although painful, enabled him to walk without pain! Dieuferly is a professional photographer. He also has a drone and does our drone shots for our television program.

He and two of our other boys have a small restaurant on our Love A Child property. God blesses everything he does! He loves the Lord and always gives Him the credit for everything! (He also is an excellent bass guitar player!)

We love all our children that God has placed in our hands. We are so thankful to you, our friends and partners, who help us care for these children, the future of Haiti. We are so blessed to have Jesse Ostrander, who has been the one to get these surgeries for Dieuferly and the Dialysis care for Jackson. Most of all, to the God who sits up high and looks down low on us all, we love you Lord, with all our hearts!
