“It’s Time to Move on!”

In Deuteronomy, the first chapter, the Bible tells us that the Israelites had been in Mt. Horeb for about a year. But, it was time to move on, and now, the “rough stuff” lay ahead of them. The Lord said, “Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: Turn ye and take your journey…”

God had given them a chance to rest and a chance to know what it is to be free from slavery, but, He came to the point where He had to “push them out of their nest,” so that they would learn how to fight!

Maybe you have been praying for something or perhaps you have been in the same “rut” for a long time… but, nothing has changed. Perhaps, the Lord is speaking to you today, through this message and He is saying, “You have dwelt here too long. It’s time to move on… You’ve got some battles to fight ahead of you, but I will be with you!”

Some people stay on the same job because “they are afraid they cannot get a better job!” They are miserable but, they can’t make that move… There are some precious women, who have been with that man, taking abuse, perhaps verbally or physically, but God is saying, “enough is enough! It’s time to move on!” But, always remember, “the battle belongs to the Lord, and where He guides, He provides!”

Keep your chin up and your eyes straight ahead! Good things are coming your way!
