Yonel (also known as Lionel) is now a young teen and doing very well in school. He first came to us after Yonel’s father held his hand in boiling water. Yonel was tossed on the street with a severely burned hand. Our Haitian attorney, a Christian, had heard about the young boy’s suffering and called us. We took him to a hospital, and they did what they could, but Yonel needed professional help. His fingers stuck together, and his hand has been in bad condition. We have found a surgeon in the Dominican Republic. It is not yet known how much the surgery will improve his hand, but in time, with therapy, it can get better. Say a prayer for Yonel. We will let you know the day he is going.
