“Keep on Knocking.”

I love the story of the judge and the little widow woman in the Bible… Luke 18:1-8

The story is of a poor widow woman, who needed the judge to avenge her of her adversary. We do not know the details but, Jesus told this story because it was important. In the 70’s there was a teaching going around that said, “If you have faith, just ask God once.” In the story Jesus told, we know, “That won’t work!”

I can tell you that living with 85 kids, with “one knock,” they’re not going away! Sometimes Bobby would say, “Baby, just be quiet, they’ll go away.” Nope! They would keep on knocking until I answered the door! And, we could even tell “one knock from the other!”

Today, if you have a need in your life, “keep on knocking!” Don’t think that you’re “bothering your Heavenly Father!” He wants you to be persistent! So, “keep on knocking” until God opens the door!! Have a good day!
