Yes, when you meet Kenzy, he will immediately warm your heart. He is so sweet and huggable you just want to “squeeze” him! He came from the mountains of Demesseau, Haiti! His mother died during childbirth, and his father died before his mother. Kenzy was always a “fragile and weak child,” and we finally realized why he is so fragile. He has a severe form of anemia. He has sickle cell anemia. He has spent a lot of time in the hospital… in fact, our ambulance had to take him to a large clinic this morning by ambulance. But, he loves school. He is in the first grade. Kenzy has little jobs to do and he does them well. He says he wants to be a doctor to help people! We think “Dr. Kenzy” will do an amazing job!
