PART 2, “MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE.”
God talks to His people today. We are the sheep of His pasture. Seven ways the Lord may speak to His people:
- God speaks to us through scripture, His word! Timothy 3:16
- He spoke to Elijah in a still small voice which was audible. 1 Kings 19:12
- Through prophecy…
- Through visions...
- Through dreams… “I will pour out of My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.” Acts 2:17
- God speaks to us by His Spirit. “But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14
- God speaks through angels. “The angel spoke to Peter saying, arise up quickly. And his chains fell off his hands, and the angel said unto him, gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals.” Acts 12:7-8
God also speaks to us in other ways. Listen to His still small voice within your heart as He guides our path today.
