Last Friday, we visited a family in the village of “Fonbaya,” not far from the border. We listened to this grandmother, Madamn Delcius, tell her story of trying to raise her five grandchildren “with no food to eat.”

She poured out her heart to us as she told her story… her son-in-law was beating her daughter (his wife), so he left, and then she left. She lives in a barren area with these five kids, and there are many days when they don’t eat at all. (These are the same children who came to our clinic last week because they were hungry!) Our medical staff sent them to our Malnutrition Clinic to get some clean clothes and food to eat.
