Mr. Zachary’s life has changed forever! He used to be a devout Christian until a Haitian Pastor lied to him, cheated him, and caused him to go “far away from God!” He began to turn his back on Jesus and became a witch doctor. But God, in His tender mercies, began to deal with his heart. It happened when I passed by his hut with all his “witch doctor” stuff, and we talked about Jesus and His love. Afterward, he sent for us. We all prayed, and he burned ALL witchcraft things, even those that were buried deep!

Yesterday, he came to Love A Child, as we asked him to. We got him set up with a job here in our ATC. He also met with our Pastor Luders, who is keeping him “under his wings!” We brought him a Creole Bible and a Church Hymnal songbook! After burning all his stuff, he opened his Bible, and I showed him how to “highlight” important scriptures! Then, he opened his songbook and sweetly began to sing like an angel!

We will get him a phone so he can communicate and get to work on time! We will buy him some shoes for church and a few things! Thank you, partners, for every hungry soul that is fed, for all the poor who have been blessed, and for the soul that you have helped win to Jesus! We are a “team for Jesus.”
