Our sweet Dumolia goes back to Jamaica today for college. She had been there for a year, studying and working hard. She had to pass five major tests from her first college to enter the medical college.

Dumolia was severely burned when she was a little girl… she fell into a hot pot of “boiling water for rice.”

She was burned from her neck down to her waist; when her father brought her to us, she could not raise her arms above her head or turn her neck! She spent years going back and forth from Haiti to the Burn Center.

She was just in the Dominican Republic for a few days for another exam by some Dominican plastic surgeon specialists. She will return after this school year and probably have surgery done in the DR.

Dumolia is a devout Christian! Everyone who meets her loves her!
