“Dumolia in Jamaica…”

We are so proud of Dumolia. This young lady has already completed her first year of college in Jamaica, and she passed! Now, she can enter a medical college next year!

We had sent Dumolia to Jamaica because her main language had become English! (In Haiti, colleges are in French!)

When she was a small child, she had been “severely” burned in Haiti when she fell into a large pot of boiling water! The skin on her neck, armpit area, and other places were melted. We spent much time and money sending her back and forth to the Shriners Hospital in Boston. There, she learned English. She came back to Haiti for her 12th grade, but we had to enroll her in an “English-speaking” high school.

This is why we had to send her to Jamaica!

Dumolia is a sweetheart! She does everything she is asked to do and does it well.

In her spare time (waiting for College to open), she is volunteering at her church in the video/sound department! Thank you for investing in her life!! This is truly “seed planted in good soil!”

God bless you,
Sherry

P.S. Dumolia says her only problem in Jamaica is learning “Patwa!” It is kind of like us “learning Creole,” which is a mixture of five languages!!
