“He Knows My Name”
Sometimes, in the midst of our trials, we may tend to think that God doesn’t care about us or that He doesn’t even know our name. Really? In Exodus 33:17, God is speaking to Moses and He says, “I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.”
He knew Moses by name and all the great men of the Bible and “He telleth the number of the stars…” (Scientists don’t know how many stars there are, but God does!) And the scripture goes on to say, “[and] he calleth them all by their names.” (Psalm 147:4) Now, just think about that… God knows the number of stars and the “name of each star.” There are so many stars that we don’t even have a “number” to count them. And yet, God calls them by their name.
He “knows your name!” He knows every breath you take, and He knows how many hairs are on your head. (Or how many hairs you “had” on your head!) He knows every drop of blood in your body and so yes, He knows your name!
Today, when you face a trial, someone is there with you, nearer than you can imagine. He knows every thought and “He knows your name!” If He knows, then “He cares!” And if He cares, He will bring the answer to your problem! Today, I want you to think about this thought… “He knows my name!” Have a great, great day!!! Sherry
