Dimelia (Dumolia) was brought to us by her father when she was about four. She had a pot of boiling water fall on her that her mother had made to boil rice. Her burns were horrific, from the top of her neck to her stomach. We sent her back and forth to the Shriner’s Burn Center in Boston for years to have many skin grafts.

When it was time for her last grade, she had to attend an “English-speaking high school” here in Haiti because her first language was English… not French. For college, she could not get a Visa to the States so we had to send her to Jamaica, where they speak English. She is studying administration and is deeply involved in her church! Dumolia still needs surgery because her body is growing and stretching… let’s keep this sweet young lady in our prayers. (And she loves the church she attends in Jamaica!!!)
