This morning I had said in my post that the police had taken back the police station in Ganthier (8 miles from us). This was misinformation. The police chief of Ganthier came by our office for food today. He said the gangs are still in control of Ganthier. He said they did shoot 10 gang members and captured another 5. Then, the police and military had to retreat and return to the small military camp about 3 miles behind us. We need your prayers more than ever. We are in great peril. We are standing on Psalm 91, trusting in the Lord. We just can’t leave the children.

FOOD UPDATE:

We have been trying since yesterday to bring Feed My Starving Children food to an area in the mountains where everyone is so hungry they are drinking sugar water. The water used is from a dirty river where everyone washes themselves, and there are also animals using this water. This evening at 5 PM we have a meeting with our food crew to figure out how to go there SAFELY. Some of the gang members have run into the mountains I hear in this area. We don’t want to run into them. We are praying for safety.
