“But He knoweth the way that I take: and when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10
It’s hard, sometimes, to go through a trial, especially when you cannot “feel His presence.”
Job was a great and humble man of God and God had given him great riches and wealth. But God “put him to the test.” In one day, Job lost his 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, all his 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 donkeys to the Sabeans. Immediately after that, fire fell from Heaven and burned up all his sheep and his servants, then, the Chaldeans came in and took his camels, and killed his servants. But that’s not all, his “seven sons and three daughters“ were killed when his house collapsed. And that’s not all, God allowed Satan to “test him even more.” Job was struck with boils from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet! And if that wasn’t enough, he had a “nagging wife, who had no pity for Job.” (That was the worst part!)
You may be going through a test today, but you will come forth as pure gold, just like Job. God’s not mad at you, He loves you! He is just testing you, and you will pass the test! Have a blessed day.
