Her name is Hannah, but the Haitians call her Anna. She was brought to our orphanage as a sick and malnourished young child by Pastor Emmanuel, Pastor of the church we built in the mountains of Demesseau.
Her mother, like most of our orphanage children, died during childbirth. (This is the reason we have so many motherless children in Haiti and so many orphanages.) Nothing is known of her father.
She is now 17 and will soon finish High School. Her dream is to be a doctor. She speaks French well, and is good in math! She is a cleaner. Her favorite things are church and music. She is “low maintenance!” We love Hannah and we know she will go far.
