Deep in the mountains of Haiti, there’s a small village perched high up where few ever go. It’s a place many have forgotten… but yesterday, Love A Child refused to forget.

Hubert and his team left the truck behind halfway up the rugged trail and walked for nearly 3 hours through steep, difficult terrain just to reach this remote village. From Grand Ravine, we climbed and climbed until we finally arrived, exhausted but filled with joy.

What happened next made every step worth it.

427 precious children from all around the area came running to meet us! Their faces lit up with pure happiness as they received a warm, nutritious meal from Love A Child.

With big smiles and grateful hearts, the children kept saying, “Thank you!” Thank you to all our wonderful Love A Child friends and supporters, and thank you to our dedicated team working tirelessly in the south of Haiti.

But we didn’t just feed their bodies. We also fed their souls by sharing the Word of God with them.

These children, in a village the world often overlooks, felt seen, loved, and cared for today.
