We are so proud of our Maternity Outreach to new mothers. Our doctors give them great care and lots of counsel and advice, encouraging them to be sure to vaccinate their babies. We thank the following churches for the Birthing Kits they sent to us: Lutheran Missions Attic Workshop Inc., Enon Baptist Church, and Northcott Church. When mothers deliver at home, they usually do not even have a clean razor blade or anything clean to use for delivering a baby. That is why these Birthing Kits are so important. A list of what is needed for Birthing Kits is below, if your Church would like to help.

These kits should contain:

• One newborn outfit (a “onesie” and stocking hat)
• A new blanket
• Feminine pads and two receiving blankets
• Small plastic basin and a bar of soap
• A new razor blade (Single-edged)
• Two 10” long pieces 1/16” cotton cord
• Disposable newborn diapers and two cloth diapers
• Safety pins
• Absorbent under pads
• Baby powder and shampoo
