We had the fish and rice distribution here at Love A Child!
We had a wonderful time! We received several e-mails saying they were coming but were facing roadblocks, in some areas gangs were throwing rocks, or containers were blocking the road. This was in several areas of Haiti today.
Out of 100 organizations, which many are orphan homes only, five could not make it today. We passed out almost 1,000 big tilapia fish, some weighing just over 3 pounds, and over 42,000 pounds of rice.
We love the widow’s organization (Veuvesviellards) in our area who just sent us this picture below.
Thank you for all of you who helped make this possible today. You did this! We passed out the fish and rice! David Meyer says, “together we are better.” Our shipments of our Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) food did not arrive in time due to the hurricane in the ocean. It will be arriving next week. Thank you FMSC…
We are thankful to Joyce Meyer Ministries — Hand of Hope, Jentezen Franklin (Kingdom Connection), everyone who helps with our FMSC food shipments, and everyone who helped with our sacks of rice and the big fish!!! Thank you! Love is something you do!
