Just look at this beautiful baby boy, who was brought into this world at our “Love A Child Birthing Center” in Fond Parisien, Haiti. The baby’s name is “Raymond Reddington.” (There is a TV Program named “The Blacklist,” whose main character is named Raymond Reddington!) Our wonderful Birthing Center is such a blessing, and we cannot count the lives that have been saved here!

Years ago, before we had our Jesus Healing Center Clinic, which we are so extremely grateful to Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope for sponsoring, I was in a “mud hut” in the village of Old Letant! A Haitian man named Joel Estime had been a witch doctor, “until we won him to the Lord!” At that time, we did not have our Jesus Healing Center Clinic nor our Birthing Center. I was in his “mud hut,” with his pregnant wife, but I did not know that “she was about to give birth.”

As I was talking and praying with “Madamn Joel,” she began to have birth pains. Before I could go for help, Joel reached under his dirty mattress in the corner of his hut and took out a “razor blade” that the Haitians call a “Gillette!” It looked filthy! Before I could say anything, the baby started to come, and Joel cut the umbilical cord with the rusty razor blade! I thought I was going to pass out! But somehow, by a miracle, the baby came out healthy! (I think she was “child number 9!”)

We realized that poor Haitian women needed a clean, safe Birthing Center to have their baby in. We are so proud of both our Jesus Healing Center Clinic and Birthing Center, and we are so thankful to all our partners for their sacrificial help in so many ways.
