This Mother’s Day, 269 mothers and their families in Anse à Veau experienced a day filled with joy, love, and hope — all thanks to the incredible support of Love A Child and their generous donors!

These mothers live in very difficult circumstances. For nearly 5 years, the southern road has been blocked, making it nearly impossible for them to travel to Port-au-Prince to sell and buy food. Many families have been struggling with hunger. Yet, despite these challenges, Love A Child showed up with open hearts and arms full of food, bringing nourishment and celebration right to them.

One of Love A Child’s beautiful missions is to always stand with those who need it most — and today, they did exactly that. The smiles, the gratitude, and the tears of joy from these mothers said it all.
