Amid all of the stress and problems in Haiti, we wanted to have a “happy Christmas” for the children here at Love a Child. They have 18 older “brothers and sisters” in college, but the older kids could not come “home” for Christmas due to the gangs. We want to thank our partners who sent in toys and clothes for the children, and a special thanks to David George World Ministries for his wonderful gifts this Christmas. He sent funds for each orphanage worker and older teen here! The Haitians have a proverb that says, “Money makes the dog climb a coconut tree!” Ha! Our workers and our older teens were thrilled with the Christmas money gifts! Thank you, sweet partners, and friends, who have stood with us, blessed us, and helped us get through the bad times! Your love is worth “gold!” Jesus is the reason for the season!
