When Bianca was told that her parents had died, it must have been horrible for her, and her siblings. We were asked to take her sister Ada, and her brother Raphael in. It was a big adjustment for her and her siblings. I remember her sitting on the floor beside me as she said, “I guess you’re my mother now?”

Today, her siblings are doing well in school. Bianca is in college studying psychology. She is “very intelligent!” I asked her to send me a picture before she headed off to “Church on the Rock,” here in Haiti. She will go far in her life! She’s a sweetie!
