Julia Jeannot, her two sisters, and one brother, were the “second family of four children” that we brought into our original “Love A Child Orphanage.” At that time, Julia was about nine years old. Her mother, whom we had known, died, leaving their father to care for four children. He asked us if we would take them in, and we did.

Julia is a Lab Technician and she does a great job! She will be getting married on December 17th and “all of her brothers and sisters” will be attending! Weddings and funerals are a big event in Haiti, and everyone attends! The crazy thing about Haitian weddings is that there are usually two or three girls that come dressed “as the bride!” Sometimes, you can’t tell who the bride is!! Ha!

We are proud of Julia getting married, because many Haitians don’t get married, they just live together! We are so proud of Julia!! She is our third Haitian daughter to get married!!! (We are trying to get the rest of them married off, too!!! Ha!) We are all proud of Julia and love her very much! Sherry
