Having a lot of rain in South Haiti! The rain battered their fragile home, Evrinise gathered her children and grandchild close. The wind howled, but she sang a hymn, her voice steady and full of hope. Her youngest child, clinging to her side, whispered, “Mama, doesn’t the rain scare you?” Evrinise smiled softly and replied, “No, my love. God is our roof when this one fails.” In that moment, her faith and love wrapped her family tighter than any walls could. Though their house was frail, Evrinise’s heart was a fortress, and her unwavering spirit a light that no storm could dim.

Hubert and the Love A Child team brought Evrinise a tent as a temporary shelter tent. Melissa is projected to dump inches of cold rain in the South of Haiti with mudslides.
