Yesterday, we had a great day distributing food to ninety organizations, and most all of them have orphanages or are feeding children in some way. Some of these organizations work with widows and other poor families, but they all do a great job!

Each organization got two months’ worth of food, large bags full of beans, rice, and cooking oil as an added blessing to the food from Feed My Starving Children. We are proud of our new missionaries, Doug and Jessica Lackey, as well as Daniel, our interpreter who has worked for us for many years. Then, of course, our sweet girls from our Love A Child Children’s Home served food to the visitors and our boys helped load food and clean up!!

The Haitians have a saying, “men anpil, chaj pa lou.” It means, “with a lot of hands the load is not heavy!” We could never feed all the thousands of children and people who are hungry but when we all work together with you, we can “get the job done!” Special thanks to Feed My Starving Children and to those who helped sponsor this food to come to Haiti!
