It was not long ago that we were filming a Love A Child program in the village of Chambrun… Chambrun is a village of 90% Voodoo. I know that there have been people who say “this isn’t so,” but it is. From the moment you walk into the village, you see all kinds of “voodoo” things on fences, on huts, on the ground, and in the trees. There is even “one large, big tree” in the middle and the people think it has Voodoo powers! If you cut off a branch, they will go into a frenzy and try to kill you!! There is a large Voodoo Temple in the middle, also.

We had been distributing food there, had a Mobile Clinic there, and did “hut to hut” witnessing and passing our Bibles! We prayed for every home, every hut, we went to! We have planted the seed so we wait until God gives the increase!

But while we were there, doing our TV Program, some of our workers met with a poor, poor woman who had no food for her children, and she was so sad and discouraged!!! Our team prayed with her and she accepted the Lord!!

We sent some money to her, $300 USD, to start a little business, so that she could sell beside her hut and still be able to take care of her children. The lady’s name was Madamn Mikentia.

We sent some of our workers back, and they took pictures of her little “business!” Just look at what she has done! Look at how happy she is!! And, she has found a church home! Look at how God has blessed her!!! She has her little “Walmart!”
