Florence was one of the second group of four children with whom we started an orphanage here in Haiti. Florence’s mother was a friend of ours, and when she died, Florence’s father could not care for her and her siblings. She has been with us since she was one year old.

Now, she is in university in Italy, studying radiology and hopefully later, physical therapy. This mantle fell upon her during the earthquake when she volunteered to help with the patients. God has a plan for her and all the other children! Thank you, partners!
