When Madamn Macena Arlande was due to have her baby, she was so afraid of having it “born on the ground in a bad area.”

Gangs are not far from her home, but she had heard of our free Maternity Clinic! So, she has been coming faithfully to our “Love A Child Maternity Center.” Each month, she and “baby” had good check-ups!

Madamn Macena knows that many women don’t want to take the time to come to our free Maternity Clinic! Mountain women drink a “strong homemade tea” to “make the delivery come faster.” This “tea” makes their blood pressure go “sky high,” so fortunately, she had been advised not to take it!

Each mother who comes to our Birthing Center is treated “like a Queen!”

She is still deciding on a name for her baby boy. She will bring her baby to have all the shots he needs!

We are thankful to all our partners who have made this Birthing Center a safe place for the poor mothers to have their babies!!
