At Anse-à-Veau Civil Prison, dedicated women tirelessly shop for fresh, vitamin-rich vegetables like moringa, okra, eggplant, papaya, carrots, spinach, and white sweet potatoes to create hearty cornmeal dishes, enhanced with beef bones, for the prisoners.
